Quickstart Guide
Get your first event live on Swell Tix in under 10 minutes. This guide walks you through account setup, creating an event, configuring ticket tiers, and publishing your ticket page.
Step 1 — Create your account
Click Get Started Free on the homepage. No credit card required. Your account includes a free tier with up to 3 active events and 100 tickets per month.
Step 2 — Create your first event
- Navigate to Events → Create Event in the dashboard.
- Enter your event name, date, time, and venue.
- Upload a cover image (recommended: 1200×630px).
- Add a description — this appears on your public ticket page.
Step 3 — Configure ticket tiers
Add one or more ticket tiers (e.g., General Admission, VIP). For each tier, set a name, price, quantity, and optional sale window.
You can add up to 20 ticket tiers per event. Each tier gets its own QR code format at check-in.
Step 4 — Publish
Click Publish Event. Your public ticket page is immediately live at swelltix.thinkswell.com/e/your-event-slug.
Once an event is published and tickets have been sold, you cannot reduce the ticket quantity below the number already sold.
